Thai mango salad
Inspired by Thai Inspired Mango Salad In The Sun
Commentaire : We try to have all ingredients the same size and shape. The onion will be finely sliced. The bell pepper also, if it is large, the strips should be cut in 2. To prepare the mangoes, first peel them, then on the first side, slice lengthwise strips of 3 to 4 mm wide all the way to the pit. Do a cut sidewise to halve their lengths, and detach from the pit by cutting along the pit from top to bottom. Repeat on the second side.
2 ripe mangoes
1/2 large red onion or 1 smaller one
2 to 3 green onions
1/2 large red bell pepper or 1 smaller one
2 tablespoon lime juice
2 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 red Thai chilli (opt)
Slice the mangoes (see text).
Slice the bell pepper (see text).
Slice the red onion (see text).
Fineley chopp the green onions.
Prepare the dressing by mixing the remaining ingredients in a bowl, adding (opt) the chilli very finaly chopped.
Mix just before serving.
