French ham sandwich
comment: the most French of sandwiches. The result is directly proportional to the quality of the ingredients used. A good fresh and crispy baguette (or piece of baguette). A good dairy butter. A good country ham sliced sufficiently thick (or thin in sufficient quantity). An optional ingredient is one or two small pickles, for me I prefer to add some good mustard. For mustard, there is a choice, Dijon, Burgundy, Meaux or artisanal mustards.
Mustard (opt but not really)
Cut the baguette in half.
Generously butter the 2 half-baguettes.
Spread a thin layer of mustard on one of the half-baguette.
A good slice of ham, close and eat immediately!
