Grilled cheese sandwich
comment: An excellent recipe of North American origin. The only difficulty is to grill the sandwich, to melt the cheese, without burning it. For the cheese use waht you have, thinly sliced or a sliced sandwich cheese.
2 slices of sandwich bread
2 slices of cheese (cheddar for example).
Assemble the sandwich directly in the pan.
Butter one of the slices of sandwich bread and place it in the pan, buttered side down.
Place the cheese on the slice of sandwich bread.
Butter the other slice of bread and place it on the cheese, buttered side up.
Cover the pan, and heat over medium heat. When the cheese begins to melt, turn the sandwich over and grill the other side.
